Staff Nurse required in Kilkenny Nursing Home
Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse in a modern 45 bed, purpose built Nursing Home in Kilkenny.This purpose built home, is set in the Kilkenny country side, less than 2 miles outside the City of Kilkenny. This role is a full-time permanent role. Candidates must be able to work a mixture of days and nights.
Role:
The role of the Nurse will also be to maintain and create standards of excellence so the Nursing Home continues to meet the needs of its residents and HIQA standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified RGN/RPN with current Registration with An Bord Altranais
- Full knowledge of HIQA standards for older person care
- 1-2 years experience working in Aged Care
- Understanding of Care Plan Standards
- Must have good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations and unpleasant elements
- Experience working in Care of the Elderly environment
