As a leading mobile phone retailer, based in the North-West, we are seeking to employ an Online Sales & Marketing Executive. This role will involve working within the marketing department on all aspects of the development and running of a new website and Online Store.
This role would suit a graduate looking for work experience coming from a business or marketing related degree who has some direct knowledge of online marketing. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and passion for achieving sales results. If you do not already have the skills listed below, what is important is that you have a willingness to learn about online sales & marketing tactics. An interest in the growing market for mobile phones, smart phones and mobile accessories would be a distinct advantage.
This role involves:
Preparation and editing of website content (product descriptions, images, editorial)
Working with current Marketing Team on offline and online marketing tactics, target audiences, website objectives, key messaging, brand identity and associated advertising.
Liaising with Web Agency on any issues which may arise impacting website content, layout, structure, quality or performance
Helping to devise Email Marketing Campaigns for target customers including opt-in recruitment, email promotion product mix and offer mix (Special Offers, Free Shipping)
Working on an Action Plan for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - Organic Listings and Paid Google Advertising, ensuring website has high search rankings include ROI.
Ensuring that Online Shop is supported by high standard of online customer service.
Liaising with Shipping Department to ensure that customers orders are shipped on time and within budget.
Analyse and report on web traffic using the latest web analytic tools
Assess and monitor website sales performance objectives.
Awareness and aptitude to work on and role our Social Media tactics
Research and report on key industry trends and competitor activity
Understanding of Online Product Merchandising, i.e. how to position product on the Website so that consumers find it easy to make buying decision.
