The Hospital Radiology Department provides imaging in most modalities across a large
Geographical area of the North Island two principal sites.
They have recently installed a 1.5T Philips Achieva MR unit and brand new 64 slice GE lightspeed CT and there are 3 newly equipped general rooms across the Radiology Department. Screening and interventional services are provided.
The department also has a single GE logic 9 ultrasound unit and has recently purchased a second expansion.
You will join a team of four Radiologist and one Registrar and you will participate in a 1 in 5 on call roster.
Remuneration is negotiable upon experience. In addition you will be provided with continued medical education assistance, relocation assistance and you have an opportunity to participate in a new purpose build private practice.
The ideal applicant will have or be eligible to qualify for vocational registration with the NZ Medical Council.
