Hospital Sales Representative
Our client, a global healthcare leader and one of Ireland’s leading pharmaceutical companies are looking to recruit a sales representative within their Healthcare Division. Reporting to the sales manager you will be responsible for a specific territory within the hospital and primary care sector.
Key areas of responsibility
*Achievement of portfolio sales targets within allocated budget through the development and implementation of integrated hospital & primary care based customer plans within a designated territory.
*Utilise an integrated approach to adopt customer-centricity in order to provide brand led solutions to the needs of both primary & secondary care customers. Secure formulary inclusion, product endorsement /referrals and opinion leader support. Increasing clinical understanding of relevant therapy areas & benefits of the company products, in line with evidence based prescribing.
*Continuous effective communication and collaboration between integrated healthcare representatives, within the Business Unit, including Brand & Customer Managers & Project Managers and to the wider organisation.
Experience and qualifications
*Educated to degree level.
*A proven track record of selling pharmaceutical products into the hospital / primary care channels.
*Experience in dealing with consultants is essential.
*Strong commercial acumen and consultative sales skills.
*Very strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
*Good project management skills are an advantage.
