Europe’s leading brand owner of household consumer products wishes to appoint an account manager for Ireland. This exciting new role reports to the Country Manager and you will develop and grow the brand within retailers and manage all areas of commercial interaction at a local level.
Main Accountabilities
*Deliver on volume sales and profit targets
*Develop annual business account plans in line with the strategic aims of the business
*Manage the promotional planning cycle with key accounts
*Work closely with field sales, marketing and retail store staff
*Provide support and training at regional and store level
*Manage an A&P budget in line with forecasts and promotional activity
*Manage 12 month forecasting, debtors and credit insurance
*Ensure that NPD roll out across the retailer is of a high standard
*Organise and deliver quarterly business reviews
*Manage 1-2 direct reports
Skills
*Educated to degree level
*Very strong selling skills with a track record of results delivery
*Experience dealing with independents and multiples in the grocery channel
*Experience in working and leading cross functionally
*Strong analytical skills
*Good presentation and persuasive skills
*Ability to manage complex tasks
Salary is €45k 30% bonus
