Sales Manager / Channel Manager

Our Client a leading provider of TV, Broadband and associated services, as part of their growth plans are looking to recruit a Sales Manager - Door to Door, to join their Retail team in Ireland.

The object of this role involves driving sales through agreed existing retail channels and to develop business through new internal sales channels, including development and implantation of a business strategy.



Job performance will be evaluated based on the following:

*Achievement against department objectives.
*Sales targets.
*Budgetary control.
*Effective execution of promotional strategies.
*Deliver against key KPIs.
*Proactivity and flexibility to meet changing needs.
*Ability to deal with other departments to achieve goals.
*Development of new strategic & tactical approaches to deliver on objectives.



Key responsibilities:

*Working within the Retail Sales team in developing and implementing a strategy for increasing volume and performance through the D2D RTM.
*To work with Independent Retailer partners on developing their own strategy to increase sales volumes and improve KPI performance.
*To set and deliver against sales targets, where necessary suggesting strategy for increasing volumes as required.
*To work with the Marketing and Operations teams on specific projects that will increase the effectiveness of the D2D RTM.

Key requirements

*Budget & forecasting experience and a proven track record in delivering sales and managing quality of customers.
*Experienced in developing business models and presenting at senior level.
*Creative planning on other methods of generating incremental volume.
*Field sales and negotiation skills are essential.
*Good communicator and presenter at a senior level with experience working through complex business models.
*Ability to manage and motivate team to get the most out of individuals and the team as a whole.
*Ability to set and control sales targets.
*Office based, some field and agent visits throughout Ireland. Occasional travel to the UK.
