Our client, a provider of creative solutions to customers’ storage problems, is looking for a Fitter to join their team.
Reporting to the Production Manager, as a Fitter, you will be responsible for installing our client’s products at customer sites across Birmingham and the surrounding area.
Your other duties will include:
- Resolving any problems encountered during installations
- Proactively communicating with management and production team regarding installation progress
- Preparing for and attending management reviews and other internal meetings
In addition to your exceptional analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to be considered for this role, you must have:
- A proven track record as a fitter and strong carpentry skills (ideally bedroom, kitchen or shop fitting)
- A driving licence with access to your own transport
Working on a self-employed basis, you must be self-motivated with the desire and determination to succeed. Highly organised, as a Fitter, you will have excellent customer-facing skills and an attention to detail.
Although not essential, experience or knowledge of the retail sector, specifically furniture products would be an advantage to your application.
