Founded in 2008 to create breakthrough products with advanced technologies, our client helps optimise the health and performance of horses. They are now seeking a Graduate Electronic Engineer to join their team on a 12 month contract.
This is the ideal role for you to develop your career with an established company offering the chance to be trained in the Diploma of Technology Management.
As a Graduate Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a combined project between our client and a higher education institution, designing and developing a new electric, mechatronic or software system. The aim is to gain valuable industrial experience through a structured and planned programme of work where you will be supported with plenty of training.
Reporting to the project management group on a quarterly basis, you will liaise effectively with your company and academic supervisors ensuring that the required expertise is being provided to the project.
Your other duties will include:
- Providing technical expertise and training to other team members
- Supporting the development of embedded products
- Providing project execution and design support
To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in a relevant electronics discipline such as electronics engineering. Equally important is your creative thinking abilities as well as your interest in electronics and prototyping.
The ideal Graduate Electronic Engineer will have electronic engineering and embedded software experience gained within their studies, a commercial environment or similar. Experience of software languages, such as C# or C++, would also be beneficial.
