My primary degree was in Toxicology. Following this, I done my MSc through research at AIT, Athlone. The title of my research was "Investigation of the relationships between food processing related stress, and the generation, virulence, survival and detection of atypical variants of Listeria monocytogenes". This project developed my skills and knowledge of microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, cell culture, instrumentation, and many other areas vastly.
