Through my work, college and hobbies I feel I have developed the suitable attributes needed to be successful in the pharmaceutical industry and believe I can make a positive contribution to a company. I have gained experience in time management involving the planning and scheduling of a research project, ensuring it is carried out within the required time bracket. This included dealing with unforeseen events and problems and guaranteeing they did not interfere with the target timeline. I became skilled in liaising and collaborating between project supervisor, technical staff and fellow researchers, which is a given requirement for the smooth and successful operation of a research project. I enhanced the development of my analytical skills through the interpretation of data and became competent in the use of excel, obtained from carrying out a research project which involved recording, collecting, analysing and interpreting all data obtained throughout the four months. I also strengthened my skill of accurately documenting project progression, which is vital when writing up the completed research project. I have developed strong communication and teamwork skills, in particular from the part-time jobs I worked in. These were extremely customer focused and required adjusting to individual customer needs with customer satisfaction being of utmost importance in each case, to ensure the best possible service was delivered. I consider myself to be a quick learner with the ability to adapt rapidly to different situations and am extremely interested in having the opportunity in becoming a valued addition in a suitable company.
